New Book: Casebook on choice of law in arbitration
A comprehensive publication on choice of law in arbitration is now available. The book provides more than one hundred previously unpublished decisions on this issue under SCC Rules.
Casebook on Choice of Law in Arbitration: 101 previously unpublished decisions under the SCC Rules is written by former SCC Deputy Secretary General, Linn Bergman.
The author noted that substantive law applied by an arbitrator can determine the outcome of the case, however there is little case laws available on this issue. By providing these decisions, the book aims to give insight on the most frequent issues regarding choice of law, how decision makers may reason in different situations and where they can go wrong.
